RentFriends Terms of Service

§1. General provisions

These Terms set out the rules for using:

  • the rentfriends.app website,
  • the RentFriends mobile application,
  • registration forms and waitlists,
  • services related to the RentFriends platform.

Using the application and platform services constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

§2. Frame generator

The frame generator allows for the creation of personalized graphics related to RentFriends.

The user undertakes to use the generator in accordance with applicable law and the principles of community life.

It is forbidden to:

  • publish offensive content,
  • violate copyrights,
  • impersonate other people,
  • use the services for illegal activities.

§3. Registration and waitlist

Submitting the form means:

  • signing up for the RentFriends waitlist,
  • expressing a desire to use the application after its launch,
  • consenting to the creation of a user account based on the provided data.

RentFriends reserves the right to grant access to the application in stages.

§4. User account

The user commits to:

  • providing accurate data,
  • not sharing the account with third parties,
  • using the platform in accordance with the Terms,
  • publishing only content that complies with the law and good manners.

The Controllers may restrict access to services, suspend, or delete a user's account in the event of a violation of the Terms.

§5. Profile visibility and user relationships

The platform allows users to publish profile information and contact other users.

The user acknowledges that some information provided in the profile may be visible to other users of the platform.

The Controllers are not responsible for relationships, interactions, or agreements made between users outside the platform.

§6. Content moderation

RentFriends may moderate content published by users and remove content that violates the Terms or applicable laws.

§7. Copyrights

All elements of visual identity, graphics, logos, and RentFriends materials are legally protected.

Copying or distributing materials without the consent of the Controllers is prohibited.

The user retains the rights to the content they publish, simultaneously granting permission for it to be displayed as part of the platform's operation.

§8. Liability

RentFriends is a platform that facilitates contact between users.

The Controllers are not responsible for:

  • relationships between users,
  • user actions outside the platform,
  • damages resulting from individual agreements between users,
  • content published by users,
  • temporary service interruptions.

§9. Marketing communication

The user may voluntarily consent to receive marketing information regarding RentFriends.

The consent includes in particular:

  • information about the app launch,
  • newsletters,
  • information about new features,
  • promotional activities.

Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting: kontakt@rentfriends.app

§10. Account deletion

The user can delete their account at any time through the feature available in the app or by contacting the Controllers.

§11. Changes to the Terms

The Terms may be modified as RentFriends evolves.

Users will be informed of significant changes via:

  • email,
  • the website,
  • the application.
